กระชุหิน
กระชุ ตามพจนานุกรมฉบับราชบัณฑิตยสถาน หมายถึงภาชนะสานรูปกลมสูง สำหรับบรรจุของ เช่นนุ่นหรือถ่าน, กระชุก ก็ว่า
กระชุหิน นี้เป็นการใช้รั้วตาข่าย มาทำเป็นภาชนะบรรจุหิน เพื่อที่ว่าก้อนหินจะได้ไม่ไหลหรือกลิ้งหลุดไปไหน การที่มีหินมากองกันอยู่ ก็จะสามารถใช้ต้านของไหล เช่นน้ำหรือโคลนได้ เมื่อของไหลมาปะทะกองหิน หินที่ถูกกระชุยึดไว้จะถ่ายแรงให้กับพื้นดิน ในทางวิศวกรรมโยธา ใช้กระชุหิน (Gabion basket) หรือกำแพงหิน (Gabion wall) ป้องกันการกัดเซาะ หรือการพังทลายของดินที่มีความลาดชันสูง
