เจ้าเป็นไผ (พอจำได้ว่า)
แม่ผู้หญิงเรียนน้อยแต่มักมีความคิดทันสมัยอยู่เสมอ ไม่ใช้วิธีเลี้ยงลูกแบบรุนแรงแบบที่คนแถวนั้นมักใช้กัน ไม่ตี ไม่บ่น ไม่เคยด่าว่า ไม่มีการตวาดออกอารมณ์ เมื่อมีคนถามว่า ทำไมไม่ตีลูกบ้าง แม่กับยายจะตอบว่า
“ไม่อยากตีมันหรอก ไอ้เรามันคนโมโหร้าย ตีแล้วก็จะตายเปล่า ๆ”
ครูปูได้ยินทีไร แอบหัวเราะคิก ๆ อยู่ในใจทุกที รู้แล้วว่าเราได้เชื้อโม้มาจากใคร 
มาค่อย ๆ เข้าใจว่า แม่กับยายคงตอบแก้เกี้ยวไปอย่างนั้นเอง ครั้นจะบอกความจริงว่าเพราะสงสารว่าไม่มีใคร เลยไม่อยากทำอะไรให้เสียใจเพิ่ม ก็คงคิดว่าคนอื่นอาจไม่เข้าใจ จะพาลหมั่นไส้จับจ้องครูปูเสียเปล่า ๆ
ยิ่งกว่านั้นยังปล่อยให้สบายไม่ใช้ทำงานบ้านเลยอีกต่างหาก อยากทำก็ทำเอง แม่จะไม่ออกปากใช้ลูกทำงานบ้านเลย จนทุกวันนี้
แม่ทดลองส่งครูปูเข้า nursery สมัยก่อนเรียกโรงเรียนกินนอน คุณครูสอนร้องเพลง เต้นรำ ท่อง ABC ทั้งวัน เป็นจุดแรกที่มีทัศนคติที่ดีต่อภาษาอังกฤษ รู้สึกคุ้นแคยและเรียนรู้แบบสบายใจ
สอนนับเลข แต่งตัว กินข้าว พอเที่ยงก็แก้ผ้าอาบน้ำกันเป็นหมู่คณะ แล้วเข้านอนตอนบ่าย
มีอยู่วันหนึ่ง แม่ซึ่งแวะไปแอบดูลูก ๆ ประจำตรงรอยแง้มหน้าต่าง เกิดแผนแตกขึ้นมา โดนเจ้าปูตัวแสบหันมาเห็น แล้วจำได้ว่าเป็นลูกกะตาของแม่ตัวเอง ร้องนำเป็นต้นเสียงให้กับพรรคพวกที่เหลือ ที่ก็ไม่รู้อีโหน่อีเหน่อะไรแต่ก็เอากับเราด้วย คุณครูจึงขอร้องให้รับตัวกลับในบัดดล อิอิ
เมื่อได้มีโอกาสไปโรงเรียนก็มีอาการกระเหี้ยนกระหือรือทุกวัน ในชีวิตไม่เคยขาดเรียน แม้ตอนอยู่โรงเรียนกินนอนแม่ลืมปักชื่อที่หมอนข้างให้ จึงไม่กล้าไปโรงเรียน ร้องไห้จนสลบอยู่กับบ้าน ตื่นมาอีกทีแม่ปักเสร็จพอดี จึงหิ้วทั้งคนทั้งหมอนข้างที่เปียกโชกไปส่งโรงเรียนในสภาพนั้น
สมัยประถมเคยไปสายแค่ 2 วัน วันแรกคือวันที่ถุงเท้าหาย แม่ก็บอกว่ากว่าร้านจะเปิดก็ไม่ทันโรงเรียนแล้ว วันนี้หยุดซักวันเถอะนะ วันที่สองต้องแต่งชุดยุวกาชาด แล้วแม่ซื้ออุปกรณ์มาไม่ครบ
และแน่นอนทั้งสองวันนั้น บ้านจึงระงมไปด้วยเสียงร้องไห้ ประหนึ่งว่าจะขาดใจ
แม่บอกว่าเจ้านี่มันประหลาด มันไม่ได้ร้องดังนะ แต่สามารถ build เสียงร้องไห้ได้เศร้าเกินจริง เศร้ามาก จนถึงเศร้าที่สุดได้ก็แล้วกัน
ทำให้แม่ต้องขับมอเตอร์ไซค์ตาเหลือกไปซื้อของมาให้จนครบ
แล้วรีบบึ่งไปส่งยายซิ้มโบ๊ะตาบวมปูดจนถึงมือครู :P
แต่เล็กเป็นเด็กเรียนดี สอบได้ที่ 1 ตลอด จนคุณครูประจำชั้นตอน ป.2 ตามไปบอกที่บ้านว่า หัวไวและอ่านหนังสือได้หมดแล้วแบบนี้ คุณครูจะทำเรื่องให้เลื่อนชั้นขึ้น ป.4 เลย แม่กับยายมองหน้ากันงง ๆ พร้อมหัวเราะ แหะ ๆ แล้วตอบครูไปว่า ปล่อยให้เค้าไปตามธรรมชาติเหอะครู
พอขึ้น ป.4 ก็เอาหนังสือ ป.5 มาอ่าน ใช้วิธีอ่านหนังสือล่วงหน้าอย่างนี้ทุกปี ครูเกือบทุกวิชามักมอบหมายให้มายืนสอนหน้าห้อง มีเฉพาะตอนขึ้น ป.5 ที่โดนคุณครูภาษาอังกฤษตวาดเพื่อให้หยุดแย่งเพื่อนตอบเสียที (คงจะรำคาญแย่แล้วน่ะค่ะ อิอิ)
ครูปูยังเก็บคำเถียงไว้ในใจจนป่านนี้ จึงมาแก้ลำด้วยการสอนลูกศิษย์ตัวเองว่า กิจกรรมในห้องเรียนจะเอะอะโวยวายแย่งตอบ กรี๊ดกร๊าด วี๊ดวิ่วอย่างไร ได้ตามสบาย ขอให้ตอนท้ายพวกหนูมาสรุปให้ฟังหน่อยว่า เมื่อซักครู่หนูได้อะไร
สิ่งที่ชอบทำเวลาอยู่บ้านคือ เอาหนังสือพิมพ์มาสะกดทีละตัว จนถึงขั้นอ่านได้คล่อง ทั้ง ๆ ที่ในบ้านไม่มีคนเรียนหนังสือเลยจึงไม่เคยมีคนสอนอ่านหรือสอนทำการบ้าน ต้องดิ้นรนหาเรียนหารู้เองตลอด
เลยผันตัวเองเป็นผู้รายงานข่าวให้คนทั้งโรงงานฟัง
หลายคนบอกดีแฮะ ไม่ต้องเปิดวิทยุให้เปลืองถ่าน
แถมยังเอาภาษาอังกฤษมาสอนคนงานอีกแนะ

ความชอบในภาษาอังกฤษที่มีก็เกิดจากการเรียนรู้ด้วยตัวเอง ซื้อหนังสือพิมพ์ Student Weekly , Bangkok Post , The Nations มานั่งอ่านทำความเข้าใจเอง เล่นทุกเกม ตอบทุกคำถาม เขียน pen pal ส่งเป็นว่าเล่น เก็บสะสมสตางค์ไว้ซื้อเทปคาสเส็ทเพลงสากลมาฟัง
เป็นเหตุให้ติดเพลงยุคเดียวกับ The Carpenters มาก เพราะไพเราะและฟังง่่าย เพลงไหนฟังไม่ออกก็เก็บสตางค์ไปซื้อ Encyclopedia Songs เล่มโต ๆ มา เพื่อจะดูเนื้อเพลง และแปลให้เข้าใจความหมาย อยากสื่อสารกับฝรั่งได้เหมือนที่เห็นในทีวี
ไปไหนคอยมองหาภาษาอังกฤษทั้งป้ายชื่อร้าน ทั้งยี่ห้อขนม ทั้งโฆษณาต่าง ๆ จดเก็บไว้มาหาความหมายต่อที่บ้าน เขียน Diary ส่วนตัวเป็นภาษาอังกฤษผิด ๆ ถูก ๆ มันทุกวัน
พอขึ้น ม.1 จึงรวบรวมความกล้า หิ้ววิทยุเทปแบบอัดเสียงได้ แบกขึ้นบ่าเดินไปท่าเรือเกาะสมุย ไปสัมภาษณ์ฝรั่งด้วยคำถามที่ตัวเองเตรียมมา ซึ่งล้วนเป็น personal questions ฝรั่งหน้าไหนจะสงเคราะห์ล่ะนั่น ถูกไล่ตะเพิดกลับมาทุกวัน พอมาย้อนฟังเทป แทนที่จะได้เรียนรู้ไวยากรณ์หรือสำเนียงที่ถูกต้อง กลับต้องมาเปิด dictionary หาความหมายของ Slang ที่เป็นคำด่าเสียส่วนใหญ่อีกต่างหาก
แป่ว!
สิ่งที่คิดเองทำเองมาทั้งหมดนี่ คงแปลกอยู่เหมือนกัน ถ้าจะบอกว่าครูปูทำอยู่คนเดียว ไม่เคยมีใครได้รับรู้เลย ยังติดเป็นนิสัยอยู่จนทุกวันนี้ เมื่อมีปัญหามักไม่ค่อยบอกใคร ขบเองจนกว่าจะเล็กลงแล้วนั่นแหละ
หรือไม่ก็ลองผิด ลองถูก หัวหกก้นขวิดมันอยู่คนเดียวประจำ ยิ่งถ้าเป็นเรื่องที่ทำให้ใครต้องเดือดร้อน ให้แม่ต้องเสียสตางค์ ครูปูก็จะพับเก็บไปเลย ได้เป็นนักกีฬาตัวแทนโรงเรียนแทบทุกประเภท แบดมินตัน ปิงปอง เบสบอล เป็นตัวแทนทีมโต้วาทีฝีปากกล้าของโรงเรียน
แต่เมื่อใดที่ต้องไปตระเวนแข่งตามจังหวัดใกล้เคียง หรือไปออกทีวี แล้วต้องกลับไปบอกแม่เพื่อขอค่าเดินทางก็จะบอกปฏิเสธทางโรงเรียนทันที โกหกไปต่าง ๆ นานา ว่าแม่ไมให้ไปบ้าง ต้องช่วยที่้บ้านทำงานบ้างล่ะ (แม่เลยได้ภาพนางยักษ์ไปโดยปริยาย แฮ่ ๆ)
รวมทีมกับเพื่อนสร้างคณะละครให้โรงเรียน แต่มักจะโดนนักแสดงยำเข้าให้ทุกที เนื่องจากไม่เคยลงทุนเครื่องแต่งกายสวย ๆ เลย ไอ้คนที่อาสามาแสดงก็คงหวังว่าจะได้สวยงามเฉิดฉายบนเวที ไอ้ผู้กำกับและคนเขียนบทตัวดี ก็จะพยายามไม่ให้มีบทเศรษฐีเพื่อหลีกเลี่ยงค่าใช้จ่าย
ละครที่ทำส่วนใหญ่เลยเลี่ยงไปเป็นละครตลก ขำขัน
ล้อเลียนโดยใช้ความสามารถของนักแสดงเป็นจุดขายแทบทุกเรื่อง
นึกแล้วก็สงสารเพื่อน ๆ จัง อิอิ
สร้างกฎเหล็กส่วนตัวขึ้นเองกับน้อง ๆ ว่า ห้ามใครเอาไฟเข้าบ้าน หากมีปัญหาอะไรอย่าให้ถึงแม่ ให้เอามากองที่เจ๊ปูคนเดียวเท่านั้น แม่จึงไม่เคยมีโอกาสได้รับรู้ปัญหาหรือความยุ่งยากสับสนในชีวิตครูปูเลย แม้แต่เรื่องเดียว
ตั้งแต่โตมาแม่ไม่เคยรู้ว่าปิดห้องทำอะไรอยู่คนเดียวนักหนา สร้างโลกส่วนตัวอยู่คนเดียว อ่านหนังสือ ฟังเพลง แปลเพลงตลอดเวลา ทุกเช้าจะตื่นมาหยิบกล่องพลาสติกขนาดเล็กสุด ที่เอาไว้ใส่น้ำจิ้ม ตักข้าวใส่ได้ไม่เกิน 3 ช้อนโต๊ะ วางกับข้าวอย่างละนิดแล้วปิดฝา แอบเอาใส่กระเป๋านักเรียนไปกินเป็นอาหารเที่ยงทุกวัน จึงไม่ต้องซื้อข้าวที่โรงเรียน ขนม น้ำหวาน น้ำอัดลมก็ไม่เคยซื้อ ทำอย่างนี้ตลอด 6 ปีที่เรียนมัธยม เพื่อหวังจะช่วยแม่ประหยัด
นี่ก็เป็นข้อดีที่ทำให้ไม่กินของหวานของจุกจิกหรือน้ำอัดลมมาจนทุำกวันนี้ แต่ข้อเสียคือกินผลไม้ไม่ค่อยเป็น
มาสะดุ้งอีกทีตอนอ่านหนังสือเตรียมสอบ Entrance อยู่ แล้วแม่แอบจัดสำรับใส่ถาด ค่อย ๆ แง้มประตูผลักถาดเข้ามาในห้อง
ครูปูมองเห็นแต่แขนแม่ที่ยื่นเข้ามา แล้วผลุบหายไป
ภาพนั้นทำให้เริ่มรู้สึกทะแม่ง ๆ กับอาการของตัวเองขึ้นมาได้บ้าง
อาการแอบคิดคนเดียวหักดิบคนเดียวมาชัดมากตอนแม่ต้องย้ายบ้านหนีเจ้าหนี้ไปอยู่ชานเมือง ห่างจากโรงเรียนเกือบ 5 กิโล ก็ไม่ยอมขึ้นรถ เดินไปกลับโรงเรียนทุกวัน ฝนจะตกแดดจะออกก็ตากฝนท่อม ๆ อยู่อย่างนั้น เพราะในหัวคิดแต่เสียดายค่ารถ
อาการอึด ๆ เพี้ยน ๆ เหล่านี้ ทำให้คนแถวบ้านเริ่มทัก เพื่อนแม่ที่อุตส่าห์มีน้ำใจเรียกขึ้นรถตอนกำลังเดินตากฝนแล้วครูปูปฏิเสธ โมโหมาก ตามมาด่าถึงบ้าน ว่าเด็กอะไรจองหองขนาดนี้
เริ่มมีเสียงเข้ามาที่แม่เป็นระยะ ๆ ว่าเจ้าปูที่น่ารักตอนเด็ก ๆ มันหายไปไหน ยิ่งโตยิ่งเปลี่ยนไปจากเด็กร่าเริง กลายเป็นคนเก็บกดแยกตัว หน้างอเป็นม้าหมากรุก จนได้ฉายาว่า ไอ้เสือยิ้มยาก แม่เพิ่งเอาฉายานี้คืนไปเมื่อหลัง ๆ นี่เองค่ะ
ด้วยอุปนิสัยที่ไม่ยอมใคร โมโหร้าย มักใช้วิธีตาต่อตาฟันต่อฟันแก้ปัญหา สมัยก่อนเด็กผู้ชายชอบแกล้งเปิดกระโปรงเด็กผู้หญิง (สมัยนี้เป็นยังไงหว่า) แม่ก็อุตส่าห์ป้องกันลูกสาวด้วยการให้สวมกางเกงขาสั้นไว้ข้างในกระโปรงอีกชั้นหนึ่ง พร้อมใส่เสื้อคอกระเช้าสีขาวไว้ข้างในเสื้อนักเรียนทุกวัน
จริง ๆ เด็กผู้ชายในโรงเรียนก็พอจะรู้กิตติศัพท์อยู่ว่า ยายคนนี้ไม่ค่อยน่าตอแยสักเท่าไหร่ แต่ก็มีเรื่องจนได้ทะลึ่งเปิดกระโปรงเพลิน ลืมเงยดูหน้า มาเปิดกระโปรงเราเข้าให้
โกรธมากขาดสติ ล็อคคอเจ้าหมอนั่นแล้วลากหัวไปโหม่งกับเสาปูนหลังห้อง ผลคือเลือดอาบ ร้องจ๊าก..โรงเรียนแทบปริ
ไอ้เราตกใจทำไม่ถูก (ตอนดูในรายการมวยปล้ำมันไม่เห็นมีเลือดไหลเลยนี่หว่า)
แม่ถูกเชิญมาให้คุณครูต่อว่า แต่กลับไปบ้านไม่เห็นว่าลูกซักคำ
ครั้งที่ 2 เรื่องไม่เป็นเรื่องอย่างแรง เพราะถูกเพื่อนยกให้เป็นผู้นำฝ่ายหญิง เลยต้องเป็นคู่ต่อสู้กับหัวหน้าของฝ่ายชาย เพื่อหาข้อยุติว่าผู้หญิงกับผู้ชายใครเก่งกว่ากัน???
ถูกเตะต่อยแบบงง ๆ พอเริ่มเจ็บตัวก็คว้าแขนเจ้านั่นมางับซะเนื้อแทบหลุดติดปาก เอ็งจะเตะจะต่อยยังไงข้าก็ไม่ปล่อย จนลงไปนอนชักดิ้นกระแด่ว ๆ ร้อง “ยอมแล้ว ๆ” กองเชียร์ฝ่ายหญิงถึงได้ “เฮ ๆ ผู้หญิงชนะ”
ว่าแล้วก็วิ่งแยกย้ายหายเกลี้ยงไปคนละทิศละทาง ปล่อยเรานั่งตาบวมปูดต่อหน้าแม่และครู
คุณครูถามแม่ว่าลูกสาวเป็นอะไร เรียนก็เก่ง นิสัยก็ดี แต่ใครแหย่ให้โกรธไม่ได้เลย ใจร้อนและอารมณ์รุนแรงมาก
แม่ไม่มีคำตอบให้ครูและไม่มีแม้สักคำที่จะต่อว่าลูกตามเคย
เพิ่งมาแอบได้ยินภายหลังตอนแม่พูดกับเตี่ยว่า
“ปูมันคงเก็บกดนะ เปิ้ล (พี่สาว) ก็ถูกแม่ (จริง) มาแอบรับตัวไปแล้วเพราะหน้าตาสะสวย เอาไปช่วยกิจการร้านเสริมสวยที่กรุงเทพได้ จากอยู่กันสองคนพี่น้อง มันก็กลายเป็นหัวเดียวกระเทียมลีบ ไม่มีใครจะเป็นเพื่อนเล่นเพื่อนคุยให้ปรึกษาได้ ไอ้เราก็มาแต่งงานมีลูกเล็ก ๆ เหมือนทิ้งเขาให้เป็นหมาหัวเน่าอีก มันคงคิดว่าใคร ๆ ก็ไม่รัก ไม่เอามั๊ง สงสารจับใจ ก็ตอนที่เห็นเดินหอบเสื้อผ้าออกมาจากบ้านยาย เพื่อตามหาพวกเรา จะมาอยู่กับเราให้ได้ จะรู้ไหมนะว่าแม่หนีหนี้ไม่ได้ตั้งใจจะทิ้ง ยิ่งตอนนี้คนในบ้านก็พูดกันแต่เรื่องหนี้สิน มันก็คงคิดเจียมตัวนะ ถึงไม่ยอมใช้เงินเลย ไม่ยอมไปเที่ยวเตร่กับใครเขาบ้าง เพื่อน ๆ ต้องเป็นฝ่ายมาขลุกอยู่กับตัวเองถึงบ้านทุกคน ทีวีก็ไม่ลงมาดู เนื้อตัวก็ไม่แต่งไม่รักสวยรักงามเหมือนเด็กสาวคนอื่น อ่านหนังสืออย่างเดียว ไอ้เราก็ไม่รู้วิธีว่าจะต้องทำยังไง “

โอ๊ย รู้แล้ว ที่โก๊ะอย่างนี้เพราะไม่ได้เรียน ป.3 นั่นเอง
ชื่นชมค่ะ มีหลายๆความรู้สึกจากการติดตามอ่าน ทั้งเข้าใจ ทั้งนับถือ ทั้งขอบคุณที่ไว้ใจในการบอกเล่าเรื่องราวเสี้ยวหนึ่งของชีวิตผ่านลานฯ รวมทั้งมีความสุขที่กะอายุครูปูถูกว่าเป็นน้องพี่ ^ ^
ขอบคุณจริงๆนะคะ ที่บอกเล่าให้เห็นว่าที่มาของความเข้มแข็ง สดใส น่ารักนั้นเกิดจากความมุ่งมั่น อดทน ไม่ยอมแพ้ต่อทุกอุปสรรคที่เข้ามา

พี่แค่อยากมาแลกเปลี่ยนว่า ทั้งหมดมีความรู้สึกที่เรียกว่า “รัก” และ “กลัว” เกี่ยวพันอยู่ร่วมกันเสมอ แต่อะไรเกิดก่อนอะไรนั้น เจ้าของความรู้สึกเท่านั้นที่จะตอบได้นะน้องน่ะ มาชวนให้ลองดู เผื่อจะเข้าคำว่า “จิตวิวัฒน์” และ “จิตตปัญญาศึกษา” ดีขึ้นอีกระดับค่ะ
