อยู่บ้านที่สุราษฎร์ก็ดูแลหลานทั้งวันทั้งคืน ติดกันเป็นตังเม พอกลับมากรุงเทพก็มาดูแลเจ้าหลานชายทั้ง 7 ตัวด้วยตัวเองทั้งวันทั้งคืนอีก ชดเชยที่ทิ้งเขาไปเป็นเดือน แป๊บเดียวก็วิ่งไปไฮเปอร์แถวสวนป่าอีกแล้ว พอกลับมาคราวนี้ก็เลยทุ่มเวลาให้งานและหมาทั้งหมด เพราะรู้ว่าใกล้จะถึงเวลานัดให้คนมารับหมาไปแบ่งกันเลี้ยงอยู่รอมร่อแล้ว
เมื่อหัวค่ำมีคนมาขอรับหมาไป 3 ราย 3 ตัว ต้องหลอกล่อตัวแม่เข้าไปไว้ในบ้านก่อน เจ้าพวกเด็ก ๆ ซึ่งวัน ๆ วิ่งตามครูปูกันจ้าละหวั่นอยู่แล้วก็วิ่งกรูกันมาริมรั้วตามคาด ทั้้ง ๆ ที่ทำใจไว้แล้วว่าจะต้องยกให้เขา สัมภาษณ์แล้วสัมภาษณ์อีก รู้ด้วยว่าบ้านใครมีสวน บ้านใครเนื้อที่กว้าง 2 ไร่ ภรรยาเขาว่างและรักหมา คงจะเลี้ยงได้เป็นอย่างดี
เลือกหยิบตัวที่ 1 เจ้าโกโก้ สีน้ำตาลเข้มรองลงมาจากเจ้า Teddy เพราะร่าเริง ติดคน ขี้อ้อน ชอบให้อุ้ม ใครเห็นใครต้องรักต้องหลงเจ้านี่แน่ ๆ
ตัวที่ 2 เจ้าเซเว่น จากที่ตั้งใจว่าจะเก็บไว้เอง แต่เจ้านี่กินเก่งตัวอ้วนปั๊ก ไล่ตามพวกพี่ ๆ เขาทันแล้ว สีขาวนวล น่ารักน่าอุ้ม เลยคิดว่าเจ้าของใหม่คงเอ็นดูเค้า เหมือนเรา
ตัวที่ 3 เจ้าซัคเกอร์ สีน้ำตาลออกเหลือง (ไม่อยากเล่าเล๊ยว่าทำไมถึงตั้งชื่ออย่างนี้) ไฮเปอร์ ซน แหย่ชาวบ้านเขาไปทั่ว ป่วนดี มีชีวิตชีวา แค่นั่งดูเค้าก็หัวเราะได้ทั้งวัน
มัวแต่สาละวนกับการเลือกหมา และจัดการกับการปีนป่ายของเจ้า 4 ตัวที่เหลือ ปากก็กำชับเจ้าของใหม่ ให้เลี้ยงดี ๆ เพราะเราเองเลี้ยงแล้วก็รัก ก็ผูกพัน อยากให้เขาไปอยู่กับคนที่รักและดูแลดี ๆ ทุกคนก็ยิ้มรับหัวเราะร่วนกันอย่างสนุกสนาน
ภาพเจ้าหมาน้อยของตัวเองทั้ง 3 ตัว ที่นั่งตัวแข็งทื่ออยู่ในมือคนแปลกหน้า เล่นเอาใจหายแว๊บ
พอเห็นสายตาบ้องแบ๊วของทั้ง 3 ตัว ที่สามัคคีกันจ้องมองมาที่เราเป็นตาเดียว เท่านั้นเอง

เก็บไม่ทัน!
แก้เก้อกับเจ้าของใหม่ไปว่า แล้วถ่ายรูปมาให้ดูเป็นระยะ ๆ บ้างก็ดีนะคะ ว่าแล้วก็สะบัดหน้าเข้าบ้านทันที ได้ยินเสียงขอบคุณ ตามหลังมาแว่ว ๆ แต่รู้ตัวว่า ไม่ไหวแล้วเรา
หนักเข้าไปอีก! กลับเข้าบ้านมาเจอเจ้ากุ๊งกิ๊ง ทำหน้าไม่ถูก กะจะบอกเขาเหมือนบทที่เตรียมไว้ว่า กิ๊งนะ เขามาเอาน้องไปช่วยกันเลี้ยงนะลูก น้องเขาไปอยู่บ้านหลังใหญ่ ๆ จะได้มีที่วิ่งเล่นเยอะ ๆ

พูดไม่ออก
ไหน ๆ จิตก็ตกไปแล้ว ตกให้มันถึงที่สุดไปเลยแล้วกัน นั่งคิดต่ออีก เออเนอะ เราเลือกหยิบตัวนู๊นตัวนี้ไปนี่ เท่ากับเรากำหนดชะตาชีวิตให้มันเลยนะนี่ เลือกให้ตัวนี้กับคนนั้น ไอ้ตัวนี้ก็จะมีชีวิตจากการเลี้ยงดูแบบที่คนนั้นจะมอบให้
อยู่ดี ๆ ก็คิดถึงเด็กเล็ก ๆ ที่ต้องเกิดมา ก็คงต้องเสี่ยงดวงเหมือนกันเนอะ จะต้องเติบโตมาในครอบครัวแบบไหน ต้องเจอกับวัฒนธรรม วิถีชีวิต และสิ่งแวดล้อมแบบไหน ฐานะทางเศรษฐกิจเป็นอย่างไร ส่งผลต่อคุณภาพชีวิต คุณภาพจิตใจไปในทางไหน ไม่มีทางรู้อยู่แล้ว อุแว๊ปุ๊บ เจอเลย!
พ่อแม่ก็เหมือนกัน ไม่มีช่วงซ้อม พลั่ก! เมื่อไหร่ คุณได้สิทธินั้นทัีนที ต้องตัดสินใจ เริ่มลองกับของจริง ชีวิตจริงนั้นทันที เริ่มสะสมแต้มขาวดำนับตั้งแต่นี้เป็นต้นไป!
เรา ๆ ก็ล้วนเป็นผลผลิตจากสิ่งแวดล้อมที่หล่อหลอม เลี้ยงดูเรามาด้วยกันทั้งนั้นเลยเนอะ และสิ่งนี้เองก็มีส่วนอย่างยิ่งที่ทำให้เราต่างกัน ทั้งสุขภาพ วิถีชีวิต วิธีคิด ความเชื่อ รสนิยม การตัดสินใจเลือก แนวโน้มของพฤติกรรมด้านต่าง ๆ ที่รวม ๆ กันเป็นอุปนิสัย ฯลฯ
ก็เลยสงสัยจริง ๆ ว่า มันยากมากไหมที่ไม่ว่าจะคนหรือสัตว์จะผูกพันกันด้วยความรัก ความปรารถนาดีอย่างแท้จริง มองกันด้วยสายตาแห่งความเอ็นดู เมตตา ปรารถนาจะให้เป็นสุขและปลอดภัย ชื่นชมและยอมรับกันและกันในแบบที่เป็นได้
ความลังเล สงสัย ไม่ไว้วางใจ จะได้หมดไป
แล้วคำว่า “โชคดี” ในวลีเหล่านี้ก็ไม่มีความจำเป็นเลย
“โชคดี” ที่ได้เกิดมาในครอบครัวนี้
“โชคดี” ที่ได้อยู่กับครอบครัวนี้
“โชคดี” ที่มีเธอ

เพราะความโชคดีจะเป็นของทุกชีวิต ถ้าชีวิตนั้น ๆ รักเป็นและมอบความรักด้วยความเข้าใจเป็น

เฮ้อ… ความที่จิตยังตกไม่เสร็จ เช้านี้ยังมีหน้าตามไปถามเจ้าของใหม่เค้าอีกแน่ะ เขาว่าน่ารักทุกตัว ไม่ร้องกวนเลย ขี้อ้อน ติดคน ทั้งนั้น ชอบทุกบ้านเลย เอาไปนอนด้วยทั้ง 3 บ้าน
หง่ะ! หนักกว่าเราอีกนะนั่น เช้านี้เลยสบายใจ อารมณ์ดีแร่ะ

เรื่องหมาเหลือขอ ที่หลวงพี่เล่ามาทำให้นึกถึงเรื่อง บุญทำกรรมแต่งเลยนะคะ มันคงมีเหตุ มีปัจจัย ให้มันเป็นเช่นนั้นนะคะ ก็เลยคิดว่า ถ้าสิ่งมีชีวิตทุกชนิดรักและดูแลกันเป็นอย่างดี ไม่ทำร้ายทำลายกัน มันก็เท่ากับเป็นการจบเวรจบกรรมไปพร้อม ๆ กันเลยน่าจะดีนะคะ
เมื่อคืนขณะกำลังนั่งเสียน้ำตากับการพลัดพรากจากลูกหมาอยู่ ก็เห็นกระดานข่าวในเวปไซต์หนึ่งมีคนเข้าไปคอมเมนท์สาปแช่ง เสธ.ที่เพิ่งถูกยิงปางตาย เวปไซต์แทบถล่ม มีแต่คนขอให้ตายจริง ๆ บ้าง บ้างก็บอกอย่าเพิ่งตายนะ ให้ทรมานชดใช้กรรมให้สาสมก่อน
น้ำตาแห้งในบัดดลมีเรื่องให้พิจารณาอีกแล้ว นี่ขนาดหมาเรายังไม่ตายนะ เรายังอาลัยขนาดนี้ แล้วนั่นคนทั้งคน ไปทำอะไรไว้ ในเวลาแบบนี้ของชีวิตถึงได้มีคนแช่งชักหักกระดูกได้ขนาดนี้ แล้วไปทำอย่างนั้นแล้วจะได้อะไรกันเนาะ สะใจก็สะใจ แต่…

หมาจำแม่นนะ แม้จะไปอยู่กับเจ้าของใหม่ แต่ถ้าเจ้าของเดิมไปเยี่ยมหาก็จะดี๊ดด๊าด ก้นแกว่งไปแกว่งมาประหนึ่งว่าพลัดพรากจากกันไปนานได้ทีเดียวเจียวล่ะ และเค้าก็จะรื่นเริงกับการมีสองบ้านเป็นอย่างยิ่ง
เหมือนลูกต้องไปเข้าโรงเรียนมั้ง แม้จะรู้ว่ายังไงก็ต้องไป แต่เมื่อถึงวันไปจริงๆก็ใจหายและอดจะไปชะเง้อหาที่ห้องไม่ได้ นึกเสียว่าเป็นการสอนให้เรารู้ถึงการ”เติบโต”ของชีวิตเนาะจ๊ะ
ส่วนการแช่งบุคคลผู้เจ็บหนักนั้น น่าสลดใจเป็นอย่างยิ่ง ฝึกธรรมได้อีกทางหนึ่ง เฮ้อ ช่วงนี้มีแต่เหตุให้ดูใจตัวเอง…
