ได้รับโทรศัพท์จากคุณแม่ท่านหนึ่ง บอกว่าไม่สามารถหาใครเซ็นเป็นผู้รับรองรายได้เพื่อใช้ประกอบสัญญาเงินกู้ยืมเพื่อการศึกษาให้กับลูกได้เพราะเหล่าข้าราชการที่มีคุณสมบัติครบ มักเข้าใจว่าเป็นการเซ็นค้ำประกันเงินกู้ยืมของเด็กจึงไม่มีใครยอมเซ็นให้
จึงขอให้ส่งเด็กมาพบเพื่อสอบถามข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมแล้วจะเซ็นให้เอง เสียงคุณแม่ท่านนั้นดีใจและตื่นเต้นมากคงไม่นึกว่าเราจะตอบตกลงง่ายขนาดนี้
เช้านี้เด็กผู้หญิงรูปร่างผอมบาง ผมยังเป็นหน้าม้าทรงนักเรียนมัธยมอยู่เลย คงเพิ่งเริ่มมาปล่อยให้ยาวตอนมาเรียนในระดับ ปวช. รวบด้วยหนังสติ๊กสีแดงที่ใช้มัดถุงแกงอย่างง่าย ๆ ยิ้มตาปิด สวัสดีอย่างนอบน้อม แนะำนำตัวแล้วบอกที่ไปที่มาว่าคุณแม่ให้มาหาอาจารย์ปู
ถามว่า “รู้จักอาจารย์ปูมั้ยคะลูก”
เจ้าเด็กน้อยตอบ “แหะ แหะ ไม่รู้จักค่ะ”
ถามว่า “หนูได้มาตอนปฐมนิเทศมั้ย”
“มาค่ะ”
“แล้วจำอาจารย์คนที่พูดคนสุดท้ายบนเวทีได้มั้ย”
“อ๋อ อาจารย์นี่เอง หนูจำได้แล้วค่ะ แม่หนูยังบอกเลยว่าชอบอาจารย์ปูมาก ดูแล้วรู้เลยว่าใจดี แต่ก็นักเล๊งนักเลงดี ชอบค่ะ”
(แป่ว!)
“แม่หนูทำงานอะไรแล้วนะคะ”
“อ๋อ แม่เย็บผ้าโหลค่ะ ไปรับผ้ามาเป็นถุง ๆ แล้วเย็บตามแบบค่ะ”
“คุณพ่อล่ะคะ”
“พ่อเลิกกับแม่แล้วค่ะ แต่ตอนนี้แม่มีแฟนใหม่ เป็น รปภ.โรงงานค่ะ”
“แล้วที่มาเรียนนี่ หนูตั้งใจอะไรไว้บ้างจ๊ะ”
“ก็ตั้งใจจะเรียนให้จบ หางานทำค่ะ”
“ทำงานไปทำไมล่ะลูก”
“จะได้เอาสตังค์ไปช่วยแม่ค่ะ”
“ตอนนี้แม่ติดขัดเรื่องสตังค์เหรอคะ”
เท่านั้นเอง ทั้ง ๆ ที่ยังยิ้มค้างอยู่ น้ำตาหยดน้อย ๆ หล่นใส่ปกสมุดที่วางอยู่ตรงหน้าเสียงดังเผลาะ ๆ ภาพที่ได้เห็นส่งผ่านความรู้สึกอัดอั้นมากระแทกใจแทบประคองน้ำตาไว้ไม่อยู่เหมือนกัน
“แม่หนูลำบาก มีเงินบ้างไม่มีบ้าง หนูเห็นแม่ต้องไปยืมเิงินข้างบ้านประจำ หนูมาโรงเรียนหนูก็ไม่ได้กินข้า่วกลางวัน รีบกลับไปกินที่บ้านตอนบ่าย ๆ แทน เก็บตังค์ไว้เป็นค่ารถไปกลับก็พอ”
“แม่ทำงานหนักมั้ย”
“หนักค่ะ”
“ทำไมหนูถึงรู้ว่าแม่ทำงานหนักล่ะ”
“แม่นั่งเย็บผ้าทั้งวันทั้งคืน พอลุกขึ้นทีนึงแทบเดินไม่ได้ ต้องลงไปนอนให้หนูนวดก่อนจะเดินได้ทุกครั้ง”
ทุกครั้งที่เด็กน้อยเอ่ยคำว่า “แม่” เม็ดน้ำตาก็จะผุดเพิ่มขึ้นมาทุกที ถ้าเป็นก่อนหน้านี้ครูปูจะเลือกวิธีปลอบให้เด็กหยุดร้องก่อน จะชวนกันมองหามุมดี ๆ จากเรื่องนี้ เพื่อให้สบายก่อนแล้วจึงจะรีบประสานให้การช่วยเหลือเ่ท่าที่จะทำได้
แต่คราวนี้ ครูปูเลือกที่จะยังไม่ปลอบเด็ก คุยกับเด็กต่อไปทั้งน้ำตา
“แล้วหนูรู้มั้ยคะ ขนาดเราไม่รู้จักกันมาก่อนเนี่ยะ อาจารย์มาช่วยหนูเพราะอะไร”
เด็กน้อยยิ้มอาย ๆ “ไม่ทราบค่ะ หนูได้ยินแต่ว่ามาพบผู้ช่วย เมื่อคืนหนูนอนไม่หลับเลยค่ะ” (หง่ะ!)
“อาจารย์เนี่ยะ เคยอยู่ในสถานการณ์แบบหนูมาแล้วนะ แล้วอาจารย์ก็ได้พบเจอคนดี ๆ หยิบยื่นน้ำใจและความช่วยเหลือให้ อาจารย์ก็เลยรอดและมีวันนี้ได้ อาจารย์ถึงได้จำขึ้นใจไม่เคยลืมถึงความประทับใจของการให้ และความสุขใจของการได้รับ เหตุผลที่อาจารย์ช่วยหนูเพราะ อาจารย์อยากให้หนูได้จดจำเหตุการณ์ครั้งนี้ไว้ ต่อไปภายภาคหน้า ถ้าหนูแข็งแรงพอหนูจะต้องส่งต่อการให้นี้ต่อ ให้การช่วยเหลือดูแลพ่อแม่ ครอบครัว และคนอื่น ๆ ในสังคม เพราะเราก็ไม่รู้หรอกเนอะว่าแค่ที่เราแบ่งปันและช่วยเหลือกันเล็ก ๆ น้อย ๆ นี่ อาจสามารถช่วยคนที่กำลังย่ำแย่ให้รอดมาก็เป็นได้”
“อาจารย์ว่าเนอะ ในเมื่อเรารู้แล้วว่าการให้มันดีอย่างนี้นี่เอง ถ้าเราทำได้ เราก็เป็นฝ่ายให้บ้าง ให้น้ำใจ ให้ความช่วยเหลือ ให้ความจริงใจ โดยไม่ต้องเลือกว่าเขาจะต้องให้อะไรเราตอบ ข้อสำคัญอยู่ที่เราได้ให้ ไม่ได้อยู่ที่เขาเป็นอะไรกับเรา รู้จักไม่รู้จัก เป็นญาติ เป็นเพื่อนหรือไม่ ก็ไม่สำคัญเท่าเราได้ให้”
“จริงค่ะอาจารย์ เพราะหนูไม่เคยคุยกับผู้ใหญ่ที่ไหน แล้วเขาช่วยหนูทันทีเหมือนอาจารย์เลย หนูจะดูแลแม่ ดูแลครอบครัว และหนูจะช่วยคนอื่น ๆ เท่าที่หนูทำได้ ขอบคุณค่ะอาจารย์”

เผอิญไปงานมาแบบก็ไม่ค่อยรู้อีโหน่อีเหน่สักเท่าไหร่หรอกค่ะ แต่เห็นชื่อวิทยากรที่ป๋าส่งมาให้ดูเจ๋ง ๆ ทั้งนั้น เลยคิดว่าไปนั่งฟังคงมีอะไรกระเด็นใส่มาบ้างอ่ะนะ แล้วก็เป็นอย่างนั้นจริง ๆ ค่ะ สนใจทั้งรูปแบบการนำเสนอและประเด็นของแต่ละท่านเลยค่ะ
กลับมาครุ่นคิดอยู่อีกตั้งหลายวัน แต่ไม่รู้ตัวหรอกนะคะว่าระหว่างที่คิดไปเนี่ยะ มันแอบไปแทรก ไปโผล่อยู่กับเรื่องที่เราต้องบริหารจัดการในแต่ละวันไปด้วย
บันทึกนี้เขียนช้าไปเดือนนึง แต่จริง ๆ แล้วเรื่องที่เป็นผลจากงานนี้ที่ลงมือทำไปแล้วยังมีอีกหลายเรื่องค่ะ เผอิญเปื่อย เอ๊ย ป่วย เข้าออก รพ.อยู่เป็นอาทิตย์ เพิ่งเรียบร้อยเมื่อวาน เลยค่อย ๆ เขียนค่ะ เดี๋ยวต้องกลับไปใหม่ล่ะ ซวย เลย อิอิอิ
ตอบความสงสัยพี่ครูอึ่งค่ะ
เวลาพูดกับเด็กนี่ หนูก็จะเป็นอีกอารมณ์นึงค่ะ
ช้า ๆ ยิ้ม ๆ เลือกใช้คำง่าย ๆ พยายามพูดจากจุดร่วมหรือประสบการณ์ใกล้ ๆ กันกับเด็ก
ดูจากปฎิกริยาขณะนั้นของเขาเป็นหลักค่ะ ถ้าเด็กใช้อารมณ์ก็น้ำเสียงแบบนึง แอ๊คติ้งแบบนึง ถ้าเด็กที่มั่นใจในตัวเองน้อย ก็ต้องทำให้เค้าผ่อนคลายจากการพูดคุยกับเราให้ได้ก่อนจะเข้าประเด็นที่ต้องการหน่ะค่ะ
แต่ถ้าพูดคุยหรือแซวกับเพื่อน ๆ พี่ ๆ ไฟก็จะแล่บแบบที่พี่ครูอึ่งเห็นนั่นล่ะค่ะ
