ตอนไปเรียนสงขลาแรก ๆ เห่อแหลมสมิหลามาก ไปเล่นน้ำมันได้ทุกวัน ด้วยความซ่าลืมไปว่าเรามันคนตัวเล็กแต่บังอาจวิ่งกรี๊ด ๆ เข้าหาคลื่นใหญ่ ๆ แบบชาวบ้านเขา
ปรากฏว่าทุกคนต้านคลื่นได้ปกติดี อย่างมากก็เซถอยกรูดหัวเราะหัวฮา แล้วพากันค่อย ๆ ว่ายกลับฝั่ง
มีแต่เราคนเดียวที่ถูกซัดม้วนต้วนหายจ้อยเข้าไปในเกลียวคลื่น
ปากที่หัวเราะก๊าก ๆ กรี๊ด ๆ ด้วยความตื่นเต้นกะจะสะใจเมื่อครู่ กลับเป็นช่องทางให้ได้ลิ้มรสน้ำทะเลแน่น ๆ อุดมด้วยเกลือแร่นานาชนิด
เสียแต่ว่าลิ้นกั้นหลอดลมคงจะน้อยใจอยู่บ้างเพราะไม่สบโอกาสให้ได้ทำงานบ้างเลย
ขณะกำลังทำลังกาหลัง 13 รอบติดกันแบบหลับตาปี๋อยู่ในเกลียวคลื่น จนนับรอบแบบนักกระโดดน้ำโอลิมปิกแทบไม่ทันอยู่นั้น ความต้องการอากาศก็มาถึงขีดสุด ปฏิกิริยาอัตโนมัติของร่างกายที่อยู่นอกเหนือการควบคุมของจิตใจก็สั่งให้จมูกสูดหายใจเข้าอย่างแรง เพียงหวังลม ๆ แล้ง ๆ ว่าช่วงนั้นใบหน้าเราคงจะโผล่พ้นน้ำแล้ว (มั้ง)
นี่คงเป็นความรู้สึกเคว้งคว้าง วังเวงและแสบสันต์สุดแล้วของชีวิต เพราะเมื่อโผล่หัวพ้นน้ำมาได้ก็ตกใจตาเหลือกเนื่องจากตัวเองถูกคลื่นลากลงทะเลห่างฝั่งไกลออกมาเป็นกิโล เห็นเพื่อน ๆ พี่ ๆ หัวเราะก๊าก ๆ กันอยู่ลิบ ๆ
รีบจ้วงน้ำกลับมาตัวสั่นแขนขาเกร็ง
เพราะภาพฉลามยักษ์ว่ายตามเขมือบหญิงสาวหุ่นเซ็กซี่
จากหนังเรื่อง Jaws ฉายซ้ำไปซ้ำมาในสมองอยู่ตลอดเวลา
(แม้ภาพจริงอาจเป็นได้แค่หอยเม่นบนพื้นทรายเหลือบมองลูกปลาพะยูนที่กำลังกระดุ๊บ ๆ เข้าฝั่งอยู่ก็ตามที 
)
ยังมิสาแก่ใจเมื่อคลานถึงฝั่งได้แบบหมดสภาพแล้ว กลับถูกพี่ ๆ เพื่อน ๆ ล้อมวงชะโงกหน้าหัวเราะซ้ำเข้าไปอีก
บางคนก็เอามือมาจิ้มพุงเล่น พี่บางคนแกล้งขยี้หัว
บางคนวิ่งไปตามพวกที่เหลือให้มาดูปลาพะยูนเกยตื้น
ที่กำลังสำลักน้ำกันใกล้ ๆ อีกแน่ะ
(เอากันเข้าไป)
ตัวเราเองขำก็ขำ แสบคอแสบปากแสบตา
แถมน้องทราย ณ คุณแม่ขอร้องยังแทรกซึมเข้าในทุกอณูที่ไม่ได้รับอนุญาตอีกต่างหาก
ตกใจก็ตกใจ ร้องไห้ไปด้วยหัวเราะไปด้วย (แง ๆ…ฮ่า ๆ)
ที่ร้องไห้ก็คงเพราะตกใจ แต่ไอ้ที่หัวเราะนี่คงเพราะเห็นพี่ ๆ เพื่อน ๆ มันตั้งหน้าตั้งตาขำกันอย่างเมามันเอาจริงเอาจังและต่อเนื่องเนิ่นนาน ก็เลยคิดว่าสารรูปเราคงน่าขำขนาดนั้นจริง ๆ ด้วยมั้ง
ว่าแล้วก็เอากะเขาด้วยซะเลยดีฝ่า อิ..อิ..อิ
ครั้นถึงวัยทำงานด้วยหน้าที่ที่ต้องพาองค์กรพัฒนาอยู่ตลอดเวลา ด้วยการที่ต้องริเริ่มทำสิ่งใหม่ ๆ แล้วได้รับแรงต้าน แอบหัวเราะ แอบถากถาง แอบซุบซิบ รวมพลคนไม่เข้าใจ แล้วปล่อยให้เราหัวฟูอยู่คนเดียว ก็มักจะนึกถึงเรื่องนี้ขึ้นมาทุกทีเลยค่ะ
หากเรามองทุกคนเป็นเพื่อนเป็นพี่เป็นน้องที่กำลังรุมทึ้งหัวเราะก๊าก ๆ ใส่เราอยู่ เราก็จะเข้าใจได้ง่ายขึ้นมังคะว่า จริง ๆ แล้วเขาคงไม่ได้เกลียดเราหรอก
เขาเพียงหัวเราะกับสิ่งใหม่ ๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นเพราะเราต่างหาก ซึ่งอาจเพราะเขาไม่เคยเจอกับตัวเอง เลยยังไม่รู้ ยังไม่เข้าใจ ไม่ชิน เลยยังมองไม่เห็นข้อดีที่จะต้องเข้าไปร่วม เข้าไปช่วยและคงลืมไปสนิทว่าเราจะรู้สึกอ้างว้างขนาดไหนที่ต้องต่อสู้กับเรื่องนี้เพียงลำพัง
เขาอาจแค่ยังไม่เข้าใจในสิ่งใหม่ ๆ ที่เราเพิ่งจะนำมาช็อคเขา หรือด้วยความที่เรายังเรียงลำดับความคิดในการนำเสนอไม่เสร็จ เขาจึงยังงง ๆ อยู่ ก็เป็นได้
ท้ายที่สุดแล้วตัวเองนี่ล่ะค่ะที่จะพาตัวเองรอดได้ เมื่อใดที่คิดจะเปลี่ยนแปลงใครจงทำความเข้าใจกับตัวเองแล้วเปลี่ยนแปลงที่ตัวเองให้ได้เสียก่อน แล้วถ้าเราเก่งกว่านั้นก็คงพอที่จะพาคนอื่นให้รอดจากความไม่รู้ ความไม่เข้าใจไปได้ด้วยล่ะค่ะ
คิดได้ดังนั้นจึงสนุกสนานร่าเริง และท้าทายกับเรื่องใหม่ ๆ ทุกครั้ง
ครูปูมักคิดถึงตอนที่ติดอยู่ในเกลียวคลื่นทุกทีที่เริ่มทำอะไรใหม่ ๆ แบบลองผิดลองถูก เพราะทำนองเค้ามันกว่าเพลง

จริงๆแล้วไม่สนุกหรอก เพราะนึกถึงภาพน้องชาย(ลูกพี่ลูกน้อง)ที่ตายไปแล้ว เคยไปเที่ยวหาดเขาปิหลาย คลื่นแรงพอสมควร เขาไปเล่นคลื่นอยู่ ผมเล่นอยู่ใกล้ๆ ทันใดนั้นคลื่นก็ตีเขาเสียหลักกลิ้งตามคลื่นไปเลย ตัวเราก็ลงไปช่วยไม่ได้เพราะน้ำทะเลลึกเกินกว่าที่เราจะยืนอยู่ แต่พวกผู้ใหญ่เขาวิ่งไปช่วยกันทันพอน้องขึ้นมาได้สักพักหายตกใจกันแล้วก็หัวเราะกับท่าที่ไม่เป็นท่า…อิอิ
เอ๊ะ..นี่นับเป็นเจ้าเป็นไผภาคพิเศษกับเขาหรือเปล่า…อิอิ

การเรียนรู้ของเด็กๆและทุกๆคนก็คงคล้ายๆแบบนี้เนาะคะ เรามักเชื่อมโยงกับประสบการณ์เก่า แต่ถ้าเมื่อไหร่ที่ไม่สอดคล้องกับประสบการณ์เดิมที่คุ้นเคยเราก็จะงุนงง ลังเล สงสัย และไม่ค่อยกล้าหยิบจับอะไร สิ่งที่ช่วยให้เราตะลุยรอดประสบการณ์ใหม่ที่พบเจอได้ก็คือความกล้า ทั้งกล้าลอง กล้าเรียน กล้าผิด กล้าถามและกล้าแบบตายเป็นตาย(วะ)..บนพื้นฐานของความคิดที่ดีและเพื่อน
..ขอให้มีความสุขกับมิตรภาพบนลานค่ะ
