โครงการ “ส่งเสริมสุขภาพ ใจ-กาย ผู้สูงวัยท่าโพธิ์”
อ่าน: 3593ในช่วงเดือนมีนาคม 2553 ที่ผ่านมา ดิฉันได้จัดโครงการ “ส่งเสริมสุขภาพใจ-กาย ผู้สูงวัยท่าโพธิ์” ขึ้น ณ อาคารปฏิบัติการภาควิชารังสีเทคนิค คณะสหเวชศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร
เป็นโครงการให้บริการวิชาการ ประจำปี 2553 ที่ดิฉันได้รับงบประมาณสนับสนุนจากมหาวิทยาลัย (งบประมาณแผ่นดิน) มีกิจกรรมหลักคือ ให้บริการการถ่ายภาพเอกซเรย์ข้อเข่า เพื่อประเมินภาวะข้อเข่าเสื่อมในผู้สูงอายุตั้งแต่ 60 ปี ขึ้นไป ที่อาศัยอยู่ในชุมชนท่าโพธิ์ จังหวัดพิษณุโลกซึ่งเป็นเขตพื้นที่ชุมชนเดียวกับมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร รวมทั้งหมด 11 หมู่บ้าน
การดำเนินงานคราวนี้ เป็นประสบการณ์สัมผัสชุมชนที่อยู่ใกล้มหาวิทยาลัยที่ทำให้ดิฉันประทับใจมาก นับตั้งแต่ อบต.ท่าโพธิ์ ท่านนายก อบต. (คุณธวัช สิงหเดช) และเจ้าหน้าที่ของ อบต. ท่าโพธิ์ ทุกท่าน โดยเฉพาะคุณชัชฎิล ที่ช่วยประสานงานการประชาสัมพันธ์และการจัดหารถรับส่งผู้สูงวัย ประธานชมรมผู้สูงวัยท่าโพธิ์ (อาจารย์สนิท เพ็งหัวรอ) ที่ให้โอกาสดิฉันเข้าไปร่วมกิจกรรมสังสรรค์ประจำเดือนกับผู้สูงอายุในชุมชนและประชาสัมพันธ์โครงการ ตลอดจนคุณเสาวนีย์ มีมาก หัวหน้าสถานีอนามัยท่าโพธิ์ ที่ให้ความกรุณาประสานกับ อสม. ของทุกหมู่บ้าน
ผู้สูงวัยที่เข้าร่วมโครงการนี้จะได้รับแจก คู่มือผู้สูงวัยพลานามัยสมบูรณ์ ที่ดิฉันเรียบเรียงขึ้นด้วยนะคะ (หน้าปกออกแบบโดยเจ้าพลอย ลูกสาวคนเล็ก)
คณาจารย์ของภาควิชารังสีเทคนิคทุกท่าน รวมทั้ง TA เข้ามาร่วมโครงการนี้ด้วย ช่วยกันคนละไม้ละมือ ทุกวันอังคาร ถึงวันศุกร์ ผู้สูงอายุจะมาที่ภาควิชาแต่เช้า 9.00 น. นั่งพักรับประทานของว่างและน้ำดื่มไปพลาง ดู VDO เกี่ยวกับโรคข้อเข่าเสื่อม (ที่ดิฉันไปขอยืมมาจากสำนักหอสมุด) ไปพลางแล้วเราก็จะทยอยเรียกชื่อมาลงทะเบียนและซักประวัติ
นิสิตอาสาสมัคร ปี 2 และ 3 ก็มาช่วยด้วย เขาชอบกันมาก เพราะได้เรียนรู้จากสภาพจริงๆ และยังได้ฝึกแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้กับผู้สูงวัยผ่านกระบวนการสุนทรียสนทนา (สัมภาษณ์) ด้วย
โดยการควบคุมของอาจารย์ นิสิตได้ฝึกจัดท่าถ่ายภาพเอกซเรย์ข้อเข่าก่อนจะเรียนจริงตอนเปิดเทอมหน้า ได้ฝึกล้างฟิล์มในห้องมืด และ QC ฟิล์ม ครบถ้วนกระบวนการ (สนุกกว่าตอนเรียนจริงๆ เสียอีก)
พอสายๆ หน่อย อาจารย์ ดร.อรอุมา บุณยารมย์ อาจารย์จากภาควิชากายภาพบำบัด ก็จะมาแจมด้วย โดยอาจารย์จะมาคุยแบบเป็นกันเองอธิบายที่มาที่ไปของเรื่องโรคข้อเข่าเสื่อม รวมทั้งสอนกายบริหารข้อเข่าเพื่อเสริมสร้างความแข็งแกร่งให้กับข้อเข่าแก่ผู้สูงอายุด้วย ท่านผู้สูงอายุสนุกกันมาก และไม่เบื่อเลยแม้อยู่ระหว่างการรอถ่ายภาพเอกซเรย์
ตอนเที่ยง เราก็ยังได้จัดอาหารเลี้ยงก่อนส่งท่านผู้สูงอายุก่อนพากลับบ้านด้วย อาหารทุกมื้อรวมทั้งของว่าง ได้คุณขวัญเรือน นักวิชาการพัสดุของคณะเป็นผู้ประสานและจัดการให้ จึงอร่อยและอิ่มแปร้ทุกมื้อ
ดิฉันสัญญากับท่านผู้สูงอายุก่อนกลับว่า จะนำผลฟิล์มที่แพทย์ได้อ่านเรียบร้อยแล้วส่งไปให้ถึงมือ โดยจะไปพร้อมคุณหมอด้วย จริงๆ แล้ว เรายังมีถุงทรายสำหรับให้ท่านได้ใช้บริหารข้อเข่าตามที่ได้เรียนจากอาจารย์ ดร. อรอุมา แจกให้อีกท่านละ 1 ชุด (ตอนนี้ยังอุบไว้ก่อน จะให้เซอร์ไพร้สทีหลัง เพราะยังเย็บไม่เสร็จค่ะ)
โครงการนี้ทำให้ดิฉันได้รู้จักกับคุณหมอที่น่ารัก และอัธยาศัยดีมากอีกท่านหนึ่ง คือ แพทย์หญิงพัชรินทร์ ปิงเมืองแก้ว ซึ่งถามไถ่ไปมาก็จ๊ะเอ๋เป็นศิษย์เก่าคณะสหเวชฯ สาขาเทคนิคการแพทย์รุ่นที่ 1 ของเรานี่เอง โชคดีจริงๆ
คุ้มเหลือเกินนะคะกับการทำงานแบบลงมือ ได้รู้จักคนมากมาย ได้สัมพันธภาพที่ดีกับชุมชนทั้งภายนอกมหาวิทยาลัยและภายในคณะ ได้ฝึกฝนตนเอง ได้สอนลูกศิษย์ ได้ใช้เครื่องมือช่วยจัดท่าถ่ายเอกซเรย์ที่ประดิษฐ์ขึ้น และแถมอาจนำข้อมูลที่ได้ไปต่อยอดงานวิจัยได้อีกด้วย………
