จากบทความของคุณกฤตย์ ทองคง นักวิ่งอาวุโสคนหนึ่งเล่าไว้ว่า ในคน 100 คนที่เริ่มวิ่ง จะเลิกวิ่งภายใน 1 อาทิตย์ประมาณ 90% อาจจะเป็นแบบที่เคยเล่าให้ฟัง คือไม่เคยออกกำลังกายเลย หรือเคยออกแต่เรื้อเวทีไปนาน วันไหนว่างหรือนึกฟิตขึ้นมาก็แต่งตัวไปออกกำลังกาย ไม่วอร์ม ไม่ยืดไม่เหยียดมันละ ไปถึงสนามหรือสถานที่ที่เลือกไว้ก็เริ่มบรรเลงเลย ใส่ไม่ยั้ง ก็ได้เรื่องซิครับ บาดเจ็บเดี้ยงกลับบ้าน ตอนเช้าตื่นขึ้นมาก็กระย่องกระแย่งลงจากเตียง เข็ดการออกกำลังกาย สาปส่งไปเลย ใครชวนอีกก็ไม่เอาแล้ว
อีก 9% จะหายไปหลัง 1 เดือน เหลือบ้าๆมาวิ่งจนติดเป็นนิสัยเพียง 1 % ที่เขียน blog ก็อยากให้มีนักวิ่งหรือจะเป็นนักออกกำลังกายด้วยวิธีอื่นเพิ่มมากขึ้น และอยากให้ทำอย่างถูกวิธี ไม่หักโหม ไม่บาดเจ็บ ไม่เกิดอันตรายถึงชีวิต
ถ้าผ่านด่านมาจนเป็นนักวิ่งหน้าใหม่กับเขาแล้ว ก็ยังเป็นห่วงนะครับ ยังอยากเตือนให้ระมัดระวัง อย่าลืมอบอุ่นร่างกาย ยืดกล้ามเนื้อ หลังออกกำลังกาย ก็อย่าลืม ผ่อนกาย ( Cool Down ) แล้วยืดกล้ามเนื้ออีกนะครับ
การออกกำลังกาย ก็อย่าหักโหม ถ้าจะเพิ่มความหนัก ระยะเวลา ระยะทาง และความถี่ในการออกกำลังกาย ก็ค่อยๆเพิ่ม อย่าให้เกิน 10% ต่ออาทิตย์ ถ้าออกกำลังกายแล้วมีอาการเตือน เช่น เวียนศีรษะ คลื่นใส้ จะเป็นลม หายใจไม่ออกหรือหายใจไม่ทัน ใจสั่น แน่นหรือเจ็บหน้าอก หูอื้อ ควบคุมการเคลื่อนไหวของร่างกายไม่ได้ ให้ค่อยๆลดความเร็วลง จนเป็นการเดิน แล้วค่อยพัก ถ้าอาการยังไม่หายต้องรีบไปปรึกษาแพทย์ ถ้าอาการดีขึ้นต้องลดความหนักลงในวันต่อๆไป
นักวิ่งหน้าใหม่หรือแม้แต่นักวิ่งที่มีประสบการณ์มากๆ แต่ถ้าประมาทหรือไม่ระวังก็อาจเกิดอาการบาดเจ็บหรือบางครั้งอาจเกิดอันตรายถึงชีวิต นักวิ่งมาราธอนที่เสียชีวิตระหว่างฝึกซ้อมและระหว่างแข่งขันก็มีข่าวเป็นระยะ
อันตรายไม่ได้เกิดเฉพาะการออกกำลังกายที่หักโหมเกินไป การผ่อนกาย ( Cool Down ) ก็มีความสำคัญไม่น้อย บางครั้งก็มีธุระ รีบกลับบ้าน เลยไม่ผ่อนกาย ออกกำลังกายเสร็จก็รีบกลับบ้านเลย อาจเกิดอันตรายได้ เพราะขณะที่วิ่งอยู่เลือดแดงจะมาเลี้ยงที่ขามาก และเลือดดำจะไหลกลับหัวใจอย่างรวดเร็วจากการบีบตัวของกล้ามเนื้อขา ถ้าหยุดวิ่งกระทันหันโดยไม่ผ่อนกาย กล้ามเนื้อขาจะคลายตัว เลือดดำจะไหลกลับเข้าสู่หัวใจได้น้อย ทำให้เลือดที่ไปเลี้ยงสมองไม่พอ ทำให้เกิดอาการวูบ หมดสติได้ และถ้าเลือดไปเลี้ยงหัวใจไม่พอ อาจทำให้กล้ามเนื้อหัวใจขาดเลือดซึ่งอาจเป็นอันตรายถึงชีวิตได้ ลองอ่านบทความนี้ดูนะครับ
อันตรายอีกอย่างที่เกิดขึ้นขณะออกกำลังกายเช่นเชือกผูกรองเท้าหลุด หรือสิ่งของตก ก็อาจเกิดอันตรายได้ขณะที่หยุดเพื่อผูกเชือกผูกรองเท้าหรือหยุดเพื่อก้มลงเก็บของ หรือนักจักรยานที่ต้องหยุดหรือลงจากรถกระทันหันก็อาจเกิดอาการหน้ามืด วูบ หมดสติ หรือเกิดอาการขาดเลือดไปเลี้ยงกล้ามเนื้อหัวใจได้
เวลานักวิ่งกำลังวิ่งอยู่ แล้วมีคนเรียกให้หยุดเพื่อคุยธุระ นักวิ่งก็จะไม่หยุดนะครับ ไม่ใช่หยิ่งไม่คุยด้วย แต่นักวิ่งกลัวจะเกิดอันตรายครับ โดนด่าบ่อยครับกำลังห้อเต็มเหยียด ชาวบ้านบอกเจอพอดีขอร้องเรียนหน่อย ขนาดบอกว่ารอหน่อย ให้หยุดทันทีเดี๋ยวตายเอา พวกก็ไม่ฟังหาว่าหยิ่ง ไม่รับฟังความเดือดร้อนของประชาชน เวรกรรม อยากให้เข้าใจหน่อยนะครับ
อีกอย่างที่อยากเตือนก็คือ ถ้าร่างกายไม่พร้อมก็อย่าฝืนนะครับ อดนอน อดข้าว เป็นไข้ ไม่ค่อยสบาย ก็พักๆบ้าง เคยฝืนแข่งวิ่ิงระยะทางแค่ 10 กม. ทั้งๆที่ครั่นเนื้อครั่นตัวเล็กน้อย วิ่งได้ 4 กม. ก็รู้สึกร้อน ไม่มีเหงื่อออกเลย ( เป็นอาการเริ่มๆของลมแดด ) ดีที่แก่วิชาเลยหยุดแล้วดื่มน้ำ เช็ดตัว เลยรอดตัวไป ไม่งั้นอาจไข้ขึ้นสูง เพ้อ จำบ้านเลขที่ไม่ได้ อาจถึงตายได้
มีเพื่อนนักจักรยานรุ่นเก๋า ถูกหามส่งโรงพยาบาลด้วยอาการหมดสติ วูบไปหลังออกกำลังกาย ดีว่ามีเพื่อนไปด้วยกันเลยช่วยพาส่งโรงพยาบาล เจอกันหลังจากออกจากโรงพยาบาล ถามดูว่าเกิดอะไรขึ้น ได้คำตอบว่าอดนอนหลายวัน แต่ก็อยากปั่นจักรยานเลยเอาซะหน่อย ก็เลยเกิดเรื่อง ไม่เข็ดครับยังปั่นอยู่เลย แต่บอกว่าถ้าร่างกายไม่พร้อมก็จะพักผ่อน ไม่ฝืนออกกำลังกายอีกแล้ว เพราะไม่แน่ใจว่าเที่ยวหน้าจะโชคดีเหมือนที่ผ่านมารึเปล่า และแนะนำว่าควรมีเพื่อนไปออกกำลังกายด้วย หรืิอออกกำลังในสถานที่ที่มีคนมากๆ ไม่ควรไปในที่เปลี่ยวเพราะถึงรอดจากการถูุกจี้ถูกปล้น เวลาเกิดปัญหาก็จะไม่มีใครช่วยพาส่งโรงพยาบาล
สรุป การออกกำลังกายมีประโยชน์มากก็จริง แต่ก็มีอันตรายอยู่มาก ไม่ควรประมาท ให้ระมัดระวัง ทำตามขั้นตอน ไม่หักโหม ไม่ฝืนร่างกาย ขอให้สุขภาพดี มีความสุข อยู่ออกกำลังกายกันจนแก่จนเฒ่านะครับ
